My inspiration for writing this piece came from Ephesians 3: 14 -19. The day the handing over ceremony for the UCCF executive body took place, Uncle Paul quoted this inspiring scripture:
14For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
This was His prayer for us: that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. He continued to speak about how impossible this would have been without the grace of a loving God. This relly hit home with me and the same night, I proceeded to write this piece:

Transformed by grace
Starign at Your face
Getting lost in Your embrace
I never want to leave this -
Place where we meld
Where iniquity is felled
Mountains and valleys levelled
Now I feel so -
Compelled to just shout
Gone is my doubt
My heart and my mouth
Will proclaim all -
About Your perfect love
Bestowed from above
Acting like a kind of
Blanket that -
Cove-ers, of all people, me!
From Your face, I'd once flee
Be what I planned to be
Impossible for me to see
Being so carefree
Couldn't hear my heart's own -
Plea for release
For depression, rejection, supression
To desist and cease
This is no lease - on my soul
But rather a whole - surrender to You
The only person by whom - I can finish this race
The Person who can renew - and finish my faith
The One who can imbue
In me and you
Many and few
Those who can, and those who do
With grace.
